With Mellonn, we offer a platform that can be used for transcribing, searching, editing and exporting audio file content. We place great emphasis on keeping your private data private, and take your concerns about private data very seriously. In the text below, we explain what we do with your personal data and what (personal) data we collect from the website. This policy applies to all information that Mellonn collects via the website, the app and in other ways.

Mellonn provides one type of service: Automatic voice-to-text services
To use our services, upload your personal audio files. We use uploaded audio and user-perfected transcripts to enhance the speech-to-text engines and the user experience. None of the audio files or transcripts are sold or made available to Mellonn staff, other persons, third parties or companies. The audio file and transcript are only processed automatically, encrypted and anonymized. You can indicate at any time that your audio file and transcript should not be used to improve the speech-to-text engine and your user experience by sending an email to the contact information at the bottom of the page.
For some languages, we use third parties to transcribe your audio and process your data. The personal information in these files is therefore sent to these parties and received by us after processing. When we process the data, we act in accordance with our terms of use.
When you use our service, it will never be processed in places outside Europe. Your data is never stored in places outside Europe. By uploading the data, you agree to this. We do everything we can to ensure that your data is stored securely. Your content remains on our servers during your time as an active user.
If you delete your account, all your data will be deleted from our servers immediately. This means that we won’t be able to recover any data if needed, and you should proceed with caution when deleting your account.

If you email our customer service, we can save the text. We do this for training purposes. Information about the use of our website, app and other digital media. Mellonn will process your personal data to provide you with voice-to-text services. Mellonn uses your personal data to send you the texts. Mellonn also uses your personal data to provide customer service.
